    Social Media and Your Kids: A Parent University Workshop

    Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lorain County for a free, comprehensive Parent University session focused on understanding the impact of social media on youth. This workshop will help parents, caregivers, and mentors navigate the rapidly changing digital world and learn how to support healthy online habits.

    Led by Emily Fagan-Zirm, M.A.Ed., this session explores the mental health consequences of premature and excessive social media use, the digital influences that shape youth behavior, and practical strategies to help families manage online activity with confidence.

    Dates & Locations:
    • January 14, 2026 – Elyria High School Dining Hall, 600 West Ave, Elyria, OH
    • Additional sessions on February 18, March 11, and April 22, 2026 (locations TBD)
