Youth Suicide Awareness & Prevention
Join us for this important Parent University session focused on youth suicide awareness and prevention. Led by Brooke Sherman of the ESC, this session will provide guidance on recognizing warning signs, starting meaningful conversations, and supporting youth mental well-being.
Participants will learn practical strategies to support young people in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where all questions are welcome. Together, we can build awareness, strengthen connections, and empower families to make a difference.

Kids STEAM Summer Camp
Join us for our exciting Kids STEAM Camp, a free summer program designed for children ages 6–14 to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and math in a fun and engaging environment. Campers will participate in hands-on learning experiences that spark creativity and encourage curiosity.
Participants will enjoy a full day of enrichment, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks, with before and after care available to support families. This program is open to Lorain County residents and offers a safe, supportive space for youth to learn, grow, and connect.

Caregiving for LGBTQ+ Youth
Caregiving for LGBTQ+ Youth: Allies for Identity & Unity
Join us for this Parent University session focused on supporting LGBTQ+ youth with understanding, knowledge, and care. Led by Kameron Pepera from Colors+ Counseling, this virtual session will explore the current mental health landscape for LGBTQ+ youth and review relevant Ohio legislation that impacts their well-being and rights.
Participants will gain practical, effective strategies to support and advocate for LGBTQ+ young people in their lives. This session is designed to help parents, caregivers, and mentors feel more informed, empowered, and confident in creating safe, supportive environments.
