Bowl a strike. Make an impact.
Start Something for children in your community.
See you at Bowl for Kids' Sake 2012 - Saturday, March 31! Bowl for Kids' Sake is the largest and most important annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters. More than 200 members of our community and 25 companies and organizations support this grassroots fundraising event. Our goal this year is to raise $38,000 for the hundreds of children we serve in Lorain County annually. Because of Bowl for Kids' Sake, more Bigs and Littles can be paired up, more friendships can be gained and improved outlooks on life can be started.
Just follow the simple steps below:
Start a team. Teams are formed with four to five members. Teams compete to raise the most money and celebrate their efforts on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Brunswick Zone! It's an exciting day full of entertainment, local celebrities, raffle drawings, special prizes, and delicious sweets and refreshments! Consider creating a team with family, friends, fraternity brothers, sorority sisters, or co-workers.
Start securing donations. Each bowler is asked to raise a minimum of $50 in pledges. Make sure to check out or download some helpful fundraising tips located on the right side of this page.
Start bowling. After you have secured your donations, it's time to have fun! You'll receive a fun game of bowling (shoe rental included!), a Bowl for Kids' Sake t-shirt, sweets, drinks, chances to win door prizes, and a great time with friends and family! Make sure to sign up for a bowling time though. In order to sign up for a session, contact Marcus Madison at (440) 277-6541 or Marcus@bigloraincounty.org.
