TITLE: Site and School Based Manager
REPORTS TO: Program Officer
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Site and School Based Coordinators
FLSA STATUS: Exempt, FullTime
FUNCTION: To manage the site and school based mentoring program. Provides excellent Customer Service to volunteers, clients, staff, funders and co-workers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Annually improves match retention and longevity, thereby improving outcomes for youth
• Interview volunteers and children for enrollment
• Coach, support, and supervise Lunch Buddy matches
• Make referral to other resources
• Implement and monitor individual client case plans, including outcome based measures
• Plan curriculum using a flexible format which encourages the child and volunteer “match” to select from educational and pro-social activities
• Plan and deliver Volunteer Training and related activities
• Ensure volunteer recognition is relevant, timely and meaningful
• Conduct match closures and engage volunteers and clients to rematch
• Involve volunteers and clients with agency match activities, fundraisers, and pr/recruiting opportunities
• Maintain all documentation and dictation in accordance with national standards and local casework manual policy and procedures
•Maintain confidentiality of client and volunteer records and information
•In conjunction with Communications Coordinator, compile and report outcome data on each school / site to the stakeholders within Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lorain County and the schools and community partners
•Carry out additional duties as assigned
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
Attend appropriate professional training sessions. Participate in appropriate professional associations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors degree in Social Services, Education or related field, preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft software and willing to learn AIM proprietary software
• Professional, friendly, assertive and highly organized
• Must have dependable transportation
• Licensed, or willing to pursue licensure, by the Ohio Credentialing Board for Chemical Dependency Professionals
